All those things help me have fuel and help me not to cramp up. But i guess i didn't stretch well enough. During mile 5, i started feeling tight and then about a 1/4 mile later... owww!
I pulled what i believed to be a groin muscle. oh wow. What pain. I hate stretching, and the pain i felt while i stretched it out made and eye gouging seem appealing.
i could barely walk for a while, but eventually i thought i shook it off. I said: let's go another mile and see how i feel. Nope! I ran about 2 minutes and said that's it! I turned around and walked to my car and went home.
i hate my body right now.
